Questions to consider:
Will the device be shared by employees?

Will the user be sitting at the desk or moving around the office?

Will the user need to transfer calls?
If yes, we recommend either a headset for a user that stays near a telephone to be able to transfer OR a cordless if calls will need to be transferred from anywhere in the office. A headset is designed to answer and disconnect only when away from the phone.
Will the user be on the phone for a very long time?
